Artistic Directors Diana Roth and
Nancy King are collaborating to bring together the art of
Theatre into the lives of children.
Throughout this experience, we will
develop and instruct students on how to to express
themselves through acting, voice, and dance.
Our goals...to teach the Art of
Performance in front of a live audience, to help develop
confidence and self-esteem, and to create a positive
development and creative atmosphere with Live Musical
Theatre. |

Diana Roth
Diana began her
career as a singer/song-writer, performing throughout the New
York City area in well known clubs such as Rodney Dangerfield's
'Catch a Rising Star' and 'The Bottom Line'. Diana
was classically trained under Laura Carrano and the had
intensive studies under Ted Auletto, Director of Carnegie Hall.
She is affiliated with BMI and NSAI...world renowned
song-writing associations. Diana has had students in
"American Girl", "New Kid", "MTI", "Paper Mill Playhouse", to
name a few. as well as voice overs and national commercials.
Diana teaches at the "Helen Hayes Studio" in Nyack, the JCC in
Tenefly abd biw at the King Centre. She has been involved
in many community theatre productions over the years such as
directing "Sound of Music", "Cinderella", and "The Wizard of
OZ"...receiving several nominations from The Paper Mill
Playhouse and NJACT. Throughout the year, Diana co-directs
musical theatre workshops for children, where she writes
original songs included in each production. Diana has been
a resident of Ringwood, NJ for over twenty years. Her
ambition now is to pass on her love and knowledge of the
entertainment field in an enthusiastic and positive way.

Nancy King
Artistic Director of
The King Centre for the Performing Arts and The New Jersey
Foundation for Dance and Theatre Arts, a 501(c) 3, non-profit
corporation. She is the artistic director of the American
Youth Dance Company and the American Jazz Dance Ensemble.
Nancy is past President of Dance Masters of America Chapter #26
and the past national director of Miss Dance of America.
After an extensive career in dance and theatre, Nancy became the
owner of The Nancy King Centre for the Performing Arts and a
national master teacher and choreographer. Her students
have won major awards and have appeared on Broadway, Film,
Television, National Tours, Industrials, Soap Operas, The Radio
City Rockettes, and commercials. SHe has been awarded the
"Directors Achievement Award" from "The Young Americans Dance
Festival", the "Excellence in Dance" award from "Dance Teacher"
magazine...and...Dancer Magazine chose The King Centre
for the Performing Arts as one of the top studios in the United
States.
With all that she
has achieved, Nancy believes her work has just begun. "As long
as there are students and teachers to teach and dedicated
professional eager to create and learn, there will always be new
goals to reach and dreams to strive towards"
